How do I request a quote?
You can reach me through the form on this page, by phone, by e-mail, on WhatsApp or through my social media. Tell me the type of project, the location, the dates you have in mind and how the images will be used.
Is the quote free?
Yes, the quote is free and with no obligation.
How much does a photo shoot or a video shoot cost?
Every project gets a tailored quote. The price depends on the type of work, the preparation, the length of the shoot, the post-production and how the images will be used.
How far in advance should I book?
Contact me as soon as you have a date or a period in mind. The lead time depends on the project and on my availability. For an urgent request, don’t hesitate to write to me.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a 50% deposit on the quoted amount is required to confirm the booking. The balance is paid on delivery of the photos or the film.
Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, Deblock and bank transfer.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather does not allow an outdoor shoot, the session is postponed at no cost to a new date we agree on together.
Can I cancel or postpone a shoot?
You can postpone at no cost to a new date we agree on together. If the client cancels for good, the 50% deposit is kept.
Which languages do you work in?
French, English and Spanish.
Do you travel to the other islands?
Yes, I travel to every archipelago of French Polynesia as the project requires. Travel and accommodation costs are paid by the client.
Do you work abroad?
Yes, mainly in Japan, the United States and Mexico. I can also travel elsewhere for a project, at the client’s expense.
Are travel costs included?
For projects outside Tahiti, travel and accommodation costs are paid by the client, on top of the service.
Can you support a foreign production shooting in French Polynesia?
Yes, I can support foreign productions with the preparation and the shooting of their project in French Polynesia, according to their needs.
How soon will I receive the photos or the film?
Photos are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the volume and the retouching needed. For videos, the delivery time is set in the quote. For film photography, allow extra time for developing.
How are the images delivered?
Files are delivered through a Dropbox download link: finished high-resolution photos, and videos in the formats agreed for your needs.
How long do you keep the files?
I usually keep a copy of the photos after delivery. For videos, it depends on the size of the files. Remember to download and back up your files as soon as you receive them.
Can I use the images for my marketing?
Yes, within the usage rights set in the quote. The media, the duration and the territory of use are specified there according to your project.
Do I need to credit you when publishing a photo?
Yes, the credit “Photo: Moana Blackstone” is required for any publication.
Do you use client images in your portfolio?
As a rule I do not use client images in my portfolio, except in special cases.
